Let me introduce myself.
I'm Shannon. After over twenty years working in local government, I founded Stratalysts because I was tired of seeing organizations spend a ton of time and money develop to a strategic plan that never went anywhere. I felt frustrated by the disconnect between vision and reality.
After I started paying attention, I noticed the problem is seldom a bad strategic plan. More often than not, it has everything to do with being able to translate strategic planning into operational doing. Just because you have a good strategic plan does not mean the organization is in a position to execute it. What looks good on paper can quickly fall apart when confronted with day-to-day realities.
